There was a time when I would look at really accomplished and successful people in the business world, or in the arts, and maybe reading a biography of them and wondering how did they find the time to get so much accomplished. They just seemed to be super-productive.
They seemed to have the keys to productivity.
At some point, I just realized that, wait a minute... it wasn't so much about the fact that they found more hours in a day to cram more stuff in, but that they actually got really good at focusing on the most important things to do and carving out the time for those things and then saying no to other things.
We have a finite amount of time in which to do anything. There's only 24 hours in a day. And we all are given the same amount of time. What's important is how we use it. Now you've heard all that before, but I just want to present to you a visual that might change the way you keep track of your priorities or decide how it is you spend your time.
